I’m a multidisciplinary graphic designer and art director based in Brooklyn, New York, specializing in identity, print, motion, and interactive design. I work with arts organizations, filmmakers, small businesses, and mission-driven clients to create visual identities, publications, campaigns, and motion pieces that balance creativity with clarity and purpose.
In my most recent role as Design Director at a sustainability strategy firm, I guided the design of corporate sustainability communications for major companies—including Fortune 500 and 1000 organizations—making complex environmental and social initiatives clear, engaging, and accessible.
My practice spans brand development, publication and report design, digital and print marketing, motion graphics, infographics, presentation design, and UI design. Alongside client work, I teach undergraduate design courses at Queens College and mentor emerging designers.
In my spare time, I explore tactile art through functional, yet sculptural, ceramic objects and jewelry: alanalaurenceramics.com.
If you’re working on something meaningful and looking for a creative partner, I’d love to hear from you!
